The Clifton StrengthsFinder is beneficial for new superintendents and their district and building leadership team to take the assessment. It allows you to understand your strengths and those on your team. It allows you to see areas where growth is needed, as well as strength pockets that makes for more effective delegation. Where I may not be the strongest a colleague can step up in that area. After the first year you learn your people, but starting out this gives you a heads up on how to best use the strengths of your team.
